Mr. Al Hamadi is the CIO for Qatar Portfolio at Qatar Investment Authority (“QIA”). He is responsible
for managing all Listed and Unlisted investments located in the State of Qatar across various sectors.
Faisal Al Hamadi joined QIA in 2006 and held several roles including Head of Asset Management from
2008 to 2014. Later, he served as an Advisor to the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and
Investments.

Faisal sits on the Boards of Hassad Food Company and Widam Food as their Chairman, Barwa R.E. as
Vice Chairman. He is also a board member in Qatar Fuel Company and Qatar Gas Transportation
Company (Nakilat). He served as CIO at the General Retirement & Social Insurance Authority.
Mr. Al Hamadi was previously a board member in many entities including Masraf Al Rayan, Songbird
Estates and Qatar Electricity and Water Company where he was the Chairman of their investment
committee.
